The Mysterious Sand-Dwellers Common aquarium eels are hardy, fascinating, and peaceful scavengers known for their long, snake-like bodies and shy personalities. Often seen peeking out from behind rocks or burying themselves in the sand, they add an "exotic" layer to a community tank. They are excellent at cleaning up leftover food and provide a completely different visual dynamic compared to traditional swimming fish.
