The Albino Tinfoil Barb is a visually stunning freshwater fish known for its shimmering white to golden body, ruby-red eyes, and vivid red or orange-tipped fins. A peaceful yet energetic swimmer, this fish adds dramatic movement and brilliance to large aquariums.
They are social schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 4 or more for a healthy, stress-free environment. Reaching sizes of 10–14 inches, Albino Tinfoil Barbs require large tanks (at least 75–100 gallons) with plenty of open space for swimming and strong filtration.
Though peaceful, their size and activity level make them unsuitable for small or delicate tankmates. They are omnivores and enjoy a varied diet of high-quality flakes, pellets, vegetables, and occasional protein-rich foods like bloodworms or brine shrimp.
