Polar Parrot is a beautiful, fully white hybrid parrot cichlid known for its rounded body, playful nature, and peaceful temperament. A perfect centerpiece for freshwater aquariums.
The Polar Parrot Fish is a popular hybrid cichlid, admired for its pure white or icy cream coloration, rounded head, and friendly personality. Unlike the more vibrant Blood Parrot, the Polar variant stands out for its elegant, snow-like appearance and calming presence in a tank.
This fish grows up to 6–8 inches and does well in tanks of at least 40 gallons. It thrives in stable, well-filtered environments, with plenty of open swimming space and smooth rocks or caves for shelter.
Despite their bulky body, Polar Parrots are gentle and social, getting along with other semi-aggressive cichlids or similar-sized community fish. They are also known to interact with owners and recognize feeding times.
Diet: Omnivorous – enjoys pellets, flakes, live/frozen foods (brine shrimp, bloodworms), and occasional blanched vegetables.
